Getting Here

When arriving in the West Point area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Stewart International Airport which is located about 11 miles from the base. If arriving by car, go north on the George Washington Bridge/I-95 South. Cross the bridge via the upper deck and stay in the right lane. Exit on the Palisades Interstate Parkway and follow the parkway north until it ends at the Bear Mountain Bridge traffic circle. Proceed around the circle and follow signs for West Point and Route 9W north. Stay on Route 9W for approximately 3 miles then exit right onto Route 218 North toward the village of Highland Falls. Go straight for 2 miles past the West Point Visitor's Center. Military personnel who are in need of temporary lodging can contact the West Point Lodging Facility in Building 2113.
